Sample type for General Letter Writing Task 1

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to you to show my interest in the job advertisement for stock management that I saw posted on the local village board. As I have recently shifted to Canada, I would like to apply for the same position.

The job description specifies that you need someone who can manage the daily stock and keep a record of everything as I have earlier also worked with a team of stock management where I was accountable to keep track of specific inventory.

I like to get things managed and enjoy supervising the other team members. I found that I am a perfect fit for this job. Being a part-time job, the most comfortable days for working would be Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I would be able to do the late-night shift for 2 Saturdays each month.

Please let me know soon what you think and if you want to have any further details from my side.

Yours sincerely,

‘XYZ Name’
